• Eligibility: Brazilian and Foreign professional players; Amateurs are permitted with HCP Index lower than 3.0 

• Ties for the 8th position on will be decided by sudden-death playoff (holes to be determined)

• PGATOUR Latinoamerica Rules Committee will determine if alternate positions from the Open Qualifying are in effect and how many will made available

• The Tournament Commission will announce prior to the start of the Monday Qualifying if alternates will be needed.  If     this is the case, the alternate positions will be decided by score.  If ties exist, a playoff, hole by hole will be conducted to determine the alternate positions after results are posted.

• Use of caddie will be mandatory

• PGA Tour Latinoamerica hard card will be used

• Golf carts will not be allowed

• Player cancellation after October 2nd 2017 will not be reimbursed

• Daily shuttle service from the Official Hotel to Olympic Golf Course.

• No transfers from Airport / Hotel / Airport 

• The Brazilian currency is the Real (R$).  Approximately USD 1 = R$ 3,40.

• Please note that US-dollar checks will not be accepted/cashed while in Brazil.

• ATM Machines are readily accessible at banks and shopping malls

• A valid U.S. passport for a minimum of six months from the date of intended arrival in Brazil;

• One blank page available for the Brazilian visa stamp is requested (the last pages, reserved by the US government for amendments, cannot be used for visa issuance); A completely filled out and signed visa application form in the original (faxes are not accepted). Make sure your signature on the form is the same as the one on your passport;

• The form can be downloaded from the webpage (www.consulatebrazil.org) or be picked up personally at any Brazilian Consulate.

• A recent 2” X 2” color passport-style photograph, front view, against white background to be attached to the application form. Other types of photographs will NOT be accepted;

• A copy of your round trip ticket to Brazil or a printout of the flight itinerary.

Clima / Climate
